Space Launch System Exploration Mission 1

Post by Christopher K. » February 7th, 2016, 8:08 pm

At this time all three NASA-TVs are rebroadcasting the announcement of the secondary science and technology missions for the first flight of the SLS. CubeSats will be included. SLS is designed to bring human beings farther than we've ever traveled, and farther than we've traveled in over four decades.

There is another live testing of the RS-25 rocket engine--this time the E2063 engine specifically. Both NASA-TVs will begin coverage at 2:30pm CDT; the test will commence at 2:45pm CDT. Again, it's at the Stennis Space Center.
