Mercury Viewing, 2019

Post by Christopher K. » January 23rd, 2019, 2:43 pm

On Friday 22 February the lecture "Mercury and Venus" will be presented at the Highland Road Park Observatory. The lecture begins at 7:30pm, has no admission fee and will be aimed at a general adult audience.

A "greatest elongation" of Mercury occurs on Tuesday 26 February during the 7pm hour. HRPO personnel will be at the Burbank Soccer Complex from 5:30pm to 7pm to show the public Mercury with magnification. The equipment will be set up in the back of the Complex, across from the dog park.
