As the oppositions of these planets approach, Science Academy Cadets will review the Voyager data transmitted back to Earth in the late 1980s and investigate the possible plans to return to one of them in the 2020s. The SA session "Uranus & Neptune" will take place on Saturday 7 September from 10am to 12pm. The session is for eight- to twelve-year-olds. The cost is five dollars per EBR-Parish kid and six dollars per other-parish kid.

Uranus viewing season is upon us, and as the planet's opposition is the night of 27/28 October, the absolute best stretch of viewing time will be Thursday 24 October to Wednesday 30 October. Uranus is now three and three-quarters degrees NNW of the mag 4.3 G-class Xi1 Ceti.
