Scientists have found new evidence for possible saltwater flows on Mars. The discovery was announced at a NASA news conference Thursday at the space agency's headquarters in Washington.

Due to all the attention Spirit and Opportunity get (and Curiosity is getting, even months before launch) some forget about the workhorse Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter. The slopes in question are at Newton Crater; I just saw the progression of images showing these seasonal "flows" on NASA-TV's Video File. It does look intriguing, and definitely worth further research.
