Going out tonight at 10:00pm CDT, having clear skies one will see beautiful Spica hanging below the Moon due south. The transparency will be poor from ten to midnight, but that's the best time period for transparency!

Full Moon is tomorrow at 2:12pm CDT. That means from 2:12am early tomorrow to 2:12am Saturday morning, the Moon will "look" Full. According the indexing of the professionals, this is Lunation 1205.

The Moon will rise is a little while, at 7:05pm, and will culminate in the Baton Rouge sky at 12:29am (thirty-nine degrees high in Scorpius).

Summer 2020! It began at 4:44pm today...

As is well-known, it takes a while today for the Sun to finally go down. In fact, as of this posting it's still up for another twenty-five minutes! (Due to Daylight Time, otherwise known as Fake Time, the wait seems longer.)

New Moon is tomorrow at 12:33am...
