 Post subject: Lunisolar Calendars

A lunisolar calendar is a calendar which incorporates elements of the motions of both the Sun and the Moon. the traditional Chinese calendar is lunisolar.

Professor John Henderson, coordinator of Asian Studies at LSU, will be at the Highland Road Park Observatory on Friday 4 March. His talk "The Chinese Calendar" will begin at 7:30pm. The talk has no admission fee and aimed toward a general adult audience.
