The Orionids officially begin after midnight, and last through the morning of 7 November; the peak is the morning of 21 October. Sadly, there's a waxing gibbous Moon which does not lower to fifteen degrees until 3:48am. That will give about two good hours of darkness, and anyway the peak hour is usually the 5am hour.
Today NASA's All-Sky Network recorded eighteen fireballs; none of them were connected to any recorded shower.
Seen any good fireballs lately?
