In case anyone didn't see the notice on the front page of the web site, four asteroids have been named for B.R.A.S. members:

(74439) Brenden - Named for founding B.R.A.S. member and long time newsletter editor Craig Brenden (formerly 1999 CT2)
(162158) Merrilhess - Named for Merrill Hess, B.R.A.S. member and important to the founding of HRPO (formerly 1999 CZ9)
(101722) Pursell - Named for founding B.R.A.S. member Wally Pursell (formerly 1999 EX4)
(53256) Sinitiere - Named for former long time B.R.A.S. Treasurer Bob Sinitiere (formerly 1999 FD)

These join (43083) Frankconrad, which was posthumously named for another B.R.A.S. founding member. These asteroids were discovered or co-discovered by B.R.A.S. member Walt Cooney and named by him.

With all of these new celebrities, do I need to bring an autograph book to the next BRAS meeting?
