NGC 602

Post by Christopher K. » July 2nd, 2015, 5:42 pm

Dr. Don Goldman captured the cluster NGC 602, which actually doesn't reside in the Milky Way but in the Small Magellanic Cloud. The cluster's young stars probably have a lot of energetic radiation. The cluster is in the constellation Hydrus and is never visible from Baton Rouge.
