Location: Baton Rouge, LA
This is a planetary nebula in the southern constellation Musca the Fly; Baton Rouge cannot see it. There are thousands of planetary nebulae, and our Sun will be one in a few billion years. NGC 5189 is two to three thousand light-years away. The image used for "March" in Astronomy's 2015 Deep Space Mysteries calendar is probably this one...
