After seeing an image in a video about the HST produced by Goddard Media Studios and released on 4 May, I looked up information on NGC 1300. It is a barred spiral galaxy 100,000 light-years across, and located 70 million light-years away.
It is found in the sky 2˚21' north of the magnitude 3.7 M-class star Tau4 Eridani.
The Milky Way is but one of billions.
