It's a very impressive homemade setup. In the picture at the above link, a thirty-inch reflector is in the background; it would be the noticeable instrument in the frame, if it weren't for "Leviathan".

There actually is a "Wally Pursell Special"; he made it and BRAS inherited it after his passing. BRAS officers are still deciding what to do with it. Patrons can ask for a glimpse of it when they visit HRPO.
