HRPO Evening Sky Viewing, 2021

Post by Christopher K. »

The last open Friday of HRPO’s calendar (18 December) is devoted to premiering much of the 2021 schedule (lectures, camps, celestial events, special programs, classes and guests). Weather permitting, viewing of the waxing crescent Moon, Mars, Uranus, Neptune, Ceres, Sirius, the Pleiades, the Hyades, the Orion Nebula, the Andromeda Galaxy, the Perseus Double Cluster, Delphinus the Dolphin and the “Kids” of Auriga will take place. Five visible passes are predicted. The Party will run from 6pm to 10pm; there is no admission fee.
