Tips and tricks, and maybe even a few samples.

Amazing Images!

Postby btoman » June 28th, 2010, 12:26 pm

I'm posting a couple of pics here by former (and now current again!) BRAS member Charles Genovese. They are, in a word, awesome! Who needs Hubble with guys like Charles around, right? (Well...I guess we can keep Hubble, too.)

I'm posting his images of M42, Jupiter with Io and Ganymede and the ISS in it's pass this past weekend.

Enjoy and thanks to Charles!

Ben

P.S. I'll be posting these and a couple more on the Facebook page, too.

WOW!!!!! Unbelievable pics!

I think I've seen the ISS speeding across the sky several times, but have never been able to train the scope on it.

Wow, I hope I can take pics like this one day! What equipment was used, do you know?

I don't have the exact specs of what equipment he was using at the time, but just to give you an idea of what he has at his disposal, here is a pic.

This pic may be more awe inspiring than the astro images :D
