2022 Neptune Viewing
Neptune will reach opposition this year on Friday 16 September. The Highland Road Park Observatory will host public viewing from 9:45pm to 11:45pm, weather permitting. At this time, Neptune will be in the constellation Aquarius though very close to the Pisces border.

Sunset is at 7:08pm CDT. Twilight ends at 8:29pm CDT. The front gate and main building will be open at 9:30pm. Below is the NOAA forecast for HRPO's planned Neptune viewing time of 9:45pm to 11:45pm...
