The Hickson Compact Groups are a catalog of relatively tight collections of galaxies. Hubble's Wide Field and Planetary Camera 2 was used to get a nice view of HCG 87, which shows what seems to be a "split" in the huge dust lane of 87a (the biggest galaxy). It is not yet know whether the small spiral in the center of the picture is actually part of HCG 87.
