This interstellar object is out of range for most Baton Rouge amateurs due to its mag 18 dimness. It is not listed in The Starry Night Pro Plus; all I can say is that for the next few nighttime periods it will be near mag 4.0 A-class Gamma Crateris, which reaches thirty degrees in the Baton Rouge sky Monday at 3:51am CST.

The Hubble team is planning to broadcast live shots of the interstellar visitor Friday at 5am CST on NASA's Media Channel. Its closest approach to the Sun was on Saturday.
