There is neither a lecture nor standard sky viewing tonight. Viewing of the Perseids begins at 10pm; HRPO personnel hopes many join them. Standard viewing will resume tomorrow night.

HRPO will be closed on Friday 19 August, as it will be opened tonight (10:30pm to 12:30am) for this year's opposition of Saturn. Regular evening sky viewing will resume on Saturday the 20th.
